Thank you for writing. You’re really making a difference. Btw, how do you deal with so many people asking you for help? Doesn’t it get overwhelming?
I appreciate your kind words. I believe the use of the word “deal” gives off a not-so-positive context to my helping others. I am not pointing fingers or saying that you’re “wrong,” I am merely making an observation that I’d like to address as part of my answer…
I consider what I am offering as a learning experience for those who ask and for myself, who answers. I am not “dealing,” rather I am encouraging and inviting because I believe that both parties are able to benefit from my shared perspectives. Along my path towards health and wellness I have experienced a not-so-health and wellness. I found myself running away from an emotional part of myself and burying it as a physical manifestation. I am able to offer my perspectives because at one point or another, I most likely experienced a similar reality (arrogance excluded).
I have always felt and enjoyed a connection with people. From my days as a touring musician, I made it a point to truly connect with those who came to see my band perform through creating long-lasting friendships that I hold dearly today. I may have not connected with everyone on such a level, but I did my best.
It does not become overwhelming because this is a path that I have chosen at this point in my life. This coming Monday, April 16th I will be opening my “doors” to those in need of Holistic Life Coaching services, as I have been Certified in the practice for 6 months. It has taken me a bit to get my feet on a solid coaching platform, but it was only a matter of time until I became settled. I will continue to blog my perspectives, but I will also offer my perspectives as a one-on-one service to truly help others (and myself).
Thank you for your question(s).
